Northwest Arkansas is a hikers paradise, and while there are many incredible places to see and experience especially in and around the Buffalo River Wilderness Area (within a two hour drive from Timber Ridge Lodge), we wanted to offer some closer to home options as well. These trails are all within a 1 hour drive (or much less) and offer excellent opportunities to experience the outdoors closer to home base. Hiking trails are prioritized left to right, closest to farthest drive from Timber Ridge Lodge.

Slaughter Pen Trails

People drive from around the country to sample the toys at this Bentonville mountain bike trail that hosts one of the top bike events in the state. Skinnies, downhill trails, a jump park, and log rides offer something for the riders of all skill levels.
